I have had the privilege of seeing both the blue and pink quilts in real life and I must say they are absolutely beautiful!!! The photos just don't do them justice.

RQM is quite the talented and skilled quilt maker! His home is full of his lovely works of art.

PS to RQM: Did you finish that batik one? Can't wait to see that!

No, cousing of mine, the batik is still on the wall.

I'm in the "doggie blankie size quilt" business at the moment.
I doin Emma, Vex, Ginger, Ruby, Hudson, Huff, and Maggie.

Oh, these old fingers are worn to the nub with all the embroidering of names.

Amazing work.....

I am speechless (which is very rare indeed)!

These are beautiful works of art.

I'm from a family of quilters... nothing I've seen compares to these. What amazing creativity and talent you've been blessed with.

OH. MY. GOD.

These are absolutely beautiful!! You're amazing!! I've machine-made a few baby quilts, but nothing like these.

In awe, once again. Of you.

RQM has so many damn talents.....

I, like Connie Jane, have had the privilege of seeing this work in person...

He's unique, he's a freak, he's the one, the only RQM.

Gotta love him...and we DO!

WOW!

I've been waiting for you to show photos of your art.

Absolutely STUNNING!

I must have one. Seriously.

Do you ever sell your work?

I need details!

How wonderful it must be to have such an incredible talent. I can't even thread a needle.

Quiltmaker, Quiltmaker,
Make me a quilt,
Blanket me with beauty,
You're a cutie patootie.
Quiltmaker, Quiltmaker
Look through your thread,
And make me a perfect quilt.

rqm, thank you soooo much for sharing these...they are incredibly beautiful...what makes them even more spectacular is that i can somehow feel that each stitch was sewn with love from a heart that truly KNOWS how to love...

i have been collecting batik fat quarters for years and someday i will figure out what to do with them...i'd love to see the batik quilt, even tho it's not complete...show us the work in progress!!

now all those names...doggie names, perhaps? do tell...and maybe some pics of them as well!!

thank you again, rqm...they truly are lovely quilts...

I'm absolutely stunned and at loss for words (ok, maybe that's because of my clumsy English..)
I attended some quilt classes from a lovely and talented Canadian teacher, as here in Italy quilt is not traditional in any family.
I enjoyed learning and I love creating, but here's a bit difficult 'cause just few shops (very very few indeed) sell the proper fabrics and stuff.
At the moment I work tons of hours a week and have no real spare time to quilt, but I look forward better times.
Thanks for sharing your art with all of us.
